EDGEhomes Wins Judge’s Choice Award
EDGEhomes Wins Judge’s Choice – Best Floor Plan Award at Salt Lake Parade of Homes
(Orem, Utah) August 4, 2015 – The Salt Lake Parade of Homes is underway, running from July 31 – August 15. Each year builders from around the valley create homes to showcase the latest and greatest in home building. Scattered across the valley are homes that range from an average home budget, to top-of-the-line homes most would only see on TV. Visitors travel through the valley to see innovations in homebuilding and design as they walk through each home.
Each year during this event, the Salt Lake Parade of Homes gives out awards to its best builders for excellence in home building. This year EDGEhomes received the Judge’s Choice award for Best Architecture/Home Design in the $350,000-$500,000 category. This award is given for excellence in design and layout of the home’s floor plan. EDGEhomes’ awarded Nora home in Herriman offers features such as EDGE’s new prairie elevation, stainless cable railing, and euro cabinets. This home has a functional and open floor plan that offers easy living.
“At EDGEhomes, from design to construction, we pride ourselves on meeting our buyers’ needs to design the perfect homes,” said Nate Maughan, VP of Construction. “Our floor plans and design are always functional and inviting. We do more than build houses, we help create a home where memories are made.”
“Too often when buying or building a house, people get carried away by charming features and become blind to particulars that will be problematic,” said Matthew Oxford, EDGE Senior Architectural Designer. “At EDGEhomes we consider every detail. When developing new home designs, we look at style, function, form, lighting, etc. We understand that a house is much more than a shelter; it should lift us emotionally and spiritually; it should be a reflection of who we are. Good design begins with honesty, asks tough questions, comes from collaboration with our team and from trusting your intuition.”
